Ok..so I am the only reading my own blog.. its how life goes. Either way.. I had a blog previously that worked as a great diary if you will on my personal life. Its a great reminder of how foolish and how wrong one can be. Right now.. the Fed announced it is buying treasuries and boasting employment to printing press operators. (of course sadly.. the printing of money is a click of a button.. so really its keyboards and semiconductor makers that benefit..) This should lead to a rise in gold and inflation.. however I am not holding my breath. Any cash in consumer pockets is being used to retire debt. This of course is a great LONG term strategy.. but not very good for politicians who need a QUICK bump in the economy. The truth is.. we are doing what we should have done in 1998 and 2005.. assuming the 7 year recession cycle.. trimming back on excess and paying down debt. This frees up cash flow for later, but for now business struggle to make it if they over levered themselves. The survivors will be rewarded with a clean playing field and new entrants won’t have to fight with irrational businesses trying to cling on.

Ebay and Craigslist..

Just sold a dress on Ebay for $25.. great for my wife because it was a one and done bride’s maid dress. There is no way consignment would have brought that in.

I also sold my three year old’s school bus on Craig’s List.. $50.

Its interesting the best way to sell items.. Ebay is great for small, shipable items.. clothes, kid clothes, video games, etc. Craig’s list is better for the bulky items. Those you can’t ship. I ALMOST bought an Xbox on Craig’s List.. pulled up the address on Google and was scared. Better to wait for the next one.

My goal is simple: I want to operate a business or businesses from my home that will support my family. Simple.

While the statement is simple, finding the business is not. I am trying to weed through hype, the dead ends, and blantant lies told about working from home. You can finds signs on the side of the road that promise “CEO pay from home” – yeah right.

You are actually reading my first effort.. a blog. My first somewhat ligit post I read online stated that a blog combined with Google’s Adsense is a source of income. Sounds good to me.

So join me along this road to see where it goes. I will keep you updated on what I find. Remember to refresh often to help increase my Adsense hits!
